The Crown Property Bureau and SIFE (Thailand) joined Mahidol University in a study visit to the Foundation's development areas in Nan
Toward the end of the internship program of students from the International College, Mahidol University, the Mae Fah Luang Foundation Under Royal Patronage organized a study visit to the Foundations' development areas in Nan from August 27th – August 31st, 2011.
The students were given the opportunity to visit various development areas including Ban Sagern, Ban Yord, Ban Piang-sor, Ban Nam-ree, Ban Nam-Chang, Ban Huay-Thanoo and Ban Nam-Parg to learn more about rural development based on Royal initiatives, the early stage of rural development, based on the theme "understand and reach out", which is very important and the application of development principles to areas different from one another in its socio-geographical context.
The Crown Property Bureau and SIFE (Thailand) also joined this study visit to learn about the Mae Fah Luang Foundation's development approaches and Sustainable Alternative Livelihood Development.
