The Secretary-General of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation presided over the “Mother of the People’s Beloved Benefactor” exhibition
On October 21, 2011, Mom Rajawongse Disnadda Diskul, Secretary-General of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation Under Royal Patronage (MFLF), presided over the "Mother of the People's Beloved Benefactor" exhibition,part ofthe "Glorious Stories of Nitasrattanakosin" series. The exhibition is organized by the Crown Property Bureau in commemoration of the 111th anniversary of the birth of Princess Srinagarindra at the Nitasrattanakosin Exhibition Hall building, Bangkok.
M.R. Disnadda conveyed ananecdote of the Princess Mother as an excellent mother role in raising her daughter and her sons—the twokings of Thailand.She taught her children to live thesimple life of ordinary people, to always think things through, and to put the country before themselves. In addition, the Secretary-General revealed the Princess Mother's work philosophy which aims to eradicate sickness, poverty, and ignorance, as well asto value thepreciousness of time, well spent for the common good.
The "Mother of the People's Beloved Benefactor" displays the Princess Mother's biography, her principles in raising her children, her royal duties and also her strong determination in development which will further inspire the peoples to continue the determination to help others in the society. The exhibition is open to the public until November 13, 2011.
