Wednesday, 24 June 2015 00:00

The Mae Fah Luang Foundation has held this international internship program for six consecutive years. The 10 participants started their internship at the Doi Tung Development Project in early June. They were carefully selected from a list of approximately 100 applicants, then divided into two equal groups to apply and develop their skills and knowledge on Mulberry Social Enterprise Business Plan and High-Value Bamboo Charcoal Feasibility Study.

The two months long internship project with the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage aims to educate interns on people-centric development approach that is beneficial to both the community and the environment.

Upon their arrival at the beginning of June, they attended an intensive orientation week and have already created work plans for the next 7 weeks.
